The Black Stallion offers over 20,000 square feet of living space, along with beautifully landscaped grounds, spacious decks, and spectacular pool facilities. There is no other home in the Outer Banks that matches The Black Stallion's combination of luxury, privacy, location, comfort and amenities. Even in the high season, The Black Stallion is a good value, with rates averaging less than $100 per guest per night (assuming double occupancy in each bedroom). Minimum 4-night rental period (with any day check-in and check-out) through the end of 2025. For 2026: -Minimum 7-night rental period (with Sunday check-in) for stays initiating in June, September, and October. -Minimum 5-night rental period (with any day check-in and check-out) for stays initiating in April, May, July, August, and November (except Thanksgiving week Sunday to Sunday, which is a 7-night minimum). -Minimum 4-day rental period (with any day check-in and check-out) for stays initiating January, February, March, and December. This property has 24 parking spots for guests. **For your safety and security, the entrance to this home is monitored by camera. Any attempt to dismantle, move, or tamper with the camera device in any way is a violation of our house rules and additional charges may apply.** **The Black Stallion is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $250, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.** Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay. This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.** **Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Hot tubs are open year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.** **Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on May 19th, 2025 and closing October 15th, 2025. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.** Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time. Check-Out is 10am.
