Also available nearby are: water sports, boat rental, ski school, canoeing, parasailing, scuba diving and a beach tavern. A delivery service is available from the local mini market. Skiathos also offers activities such as: horse riding, guided walks and island-hopping tours. There are numerous restaurants across the island, many of which offer excellent traditional local cuisine. In addition, Skiathos town, 8 km away, has a lively nightlife, with a range of tears and nightclubs. The island airport has scheduled tlights from Athens,and charter fiights from the UK, Italy, Germany, Austria, Israel and Holland. Alternatively, regular ferry and dolphin boat services are available from the mainland ports of Agios Konstaatinos and Volos. Car hire is readily available but should be arranged in advance.
