Meticulously designed with a clean industrial aesthetic and solid concrete construction, this villa is both stylish and robust. Inside, modern art and curated photography blend with cultural elements, including a striking Taniwha carving who watches over the home. The grand atrium, with its 8-metre high ceiling, antique Persian hand knotted mosque rug, and baby grand piano provides an inspiring space for yoga or pilates, while the main kitchen, with additional full preparation/ butlers kitchen, ensures seamless food preparation. Dine in style at the handcrafted tables made from heritage wind fallen old oak and Australian red gum, seating up to 16 guests.
Step outside to enjoy the newly added 12m seasonally-heated pool, large cedar hot tub, and expansive patio, perfect for al fresco dining with panoramic views. A west-facing terrace offers additional space to bask in the sun, while outdoor chefs can make use of the Traeger Pellet Smoker and gas and charcoal barbecues.
Rainy days are no match for Te Punga’s entertainment options. Guests can challenge each other to pool, basketball, table tennis, or darts, or unwind with Sky TV, Netflix, or classic board games. Underfloor heating throughout the villa ensures a cozy atmosphere year-round. A well-stocked library and on-site gym cater to those seeking quieter moments or active pursuits. For wine enthusiasts, an underground wine cellar is available for visits by arrangement.
Families will appreciate the separate self-contained suite offering privacy and convenience, along with the availability of a baby gate, high chair, cot, baby bath, large toy box, nappy changing table and stroller. The ground level is fully wheelchair accessible, with a lift to the second level available by arrangement. For those wishing to arrive in style, a private helipad is also available on-site.
